HORIZON Festival of Arts and Culture was Sunshine Coast Council's first major region-wide arts celebration, debuting in September 2016. The event brought together 220 separate cultural events and added a few new ones that all existed in the arts space and were happening at a similar time of year.
We were chosen in the inaugural year of HORIZON to craft a digital marketing strategy and roll out a campaign that would introduce the massive cultural extravaganza to market and garner as much interest and engagement as possible.
We built a website with a mobile-first user experience design including interactive event maps and program. We strategically planned and executed the social media marketing campaign including paid ads on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter; and we also put together the Google AdWords campaign and digital signage designs.
