When VA approached a renowned skate coach and general all-round shredder Mat Chigwidden about coming on board to run a Skateboard event inside the Noosa Festival of Surfing, he jumped at the chance.

Conceived, marketed and executed by the VA team this inaugural event was a huge success. From negotiating council permits to build a skate part in the Noosa woods to ensuring that the floodlights were bright enough to facilitate night time skating we really did do it all.
